deep.navy

What changed since your last research brief?

Give your research agent the evidence to revisit your thesis: searchable news and SEC filings, reported company facts, and monitors that deliver new matches. Follow the sources, check what changed, and decide what deserves another look.

Start with one useful question

Your research took work. Keep its assumptions in view.

A saved brief records what you believed then. New filings, reported numbers and news may change the picture. deep.navy maintains the search and monitoring tools your agent can use to bring fresh evidence back to the questions that matter to you.

Turn one research thesis into a repeatable review

Start with one company and three assumptions you want to check.

  1. Write down the assumptions behind your thesis and the date you last reviewed them.
  2. Ask your agent to find relevant news, filings and reported facts, with sources and dates.
  3. Review what supports or challenges each assumption. Save supported searches as monitors to collect new matches.

Monitors deliver search matches; your agent evaluates them against your thesis. Coverage and freshness depend on the source. An empty search is not proof that nothing changed.

Put the source behind the number

Retrieve reported company facts with periods, units and filing references. Give your agent inputs you can inspect.

Test the story against the fundamentals

Compare energy inventories and futures positioning, then investigate relevant weather and news. Keep competing explanations in view.

Ground research in place and time

Discover geospatial records, supported imagery previews and US weather. Find evidence for the location and period you are investigating.

How it works

Three steps, no SDK.

Create a key

Sign in and create an API key in the dashboard. The secret starts with dn_live_ and is shown once, so store it where your agent reads secrets.

Add the URL to your agent

Put https://mcp.deep.navy/mcp in your MCP client with Authorization: Bearer <your key>. Claude Code takes it as one command, Cursor reads it from mcp.json, and Claude Desktop reaches it through the mcp-remote bridge. The Claude Code command is below; the docs include the other clients.

Your agent calls the tools

Every tool publishes a JSON schema, so the model picks the tool and fills in the arguments from a plain request. Switch tools on and off per account in the dashboard; /mcp serves exactly the tools you enabled, and a change reaches a connected agent after the authorization cache refreshes and the client refreshes tools/list. Reconnect if your client keeps an old tool list.

Connect Claude Code

Set DEEPNAVY_KEY to your tool API key, then run this command.

claude mcp add --scope user --transport http deepnavy https://mcp.deep.navy/mcp \
  --header "Authorization: Bearer $DEEPNAVY_KEY"

User scope makes the tools available in every project on this machine. --scope project writes a shareable .mcp.json for a team repository instead. The shell expands the key before it is stored; never commit that secret.

From production

What your agent gets back.

Four dated production captures show example requests and responses. They include source context: the filing's accession number, the Earth Search item the scene came from, the dateline that placed the story, and a signature you can check.

edgar_fetch

One section of a 10-K

Item 1A, Risk Factors, of Apple's 2025 annual report, cut at 1,500 characters and flagged as truncated.

Captured 2026-10-05. A dated example, not a live result.

geo_search

Clear Sentinel-2 scenes over Los Angeles

Sentinel-2 Level-2A scenes over Los Angeles since 20 September 2026 with at most 5 percent cloud, clearest first, queried live against Earth Search.

Captured 2026-10-05. A dated example, not a live result.

news_search

News filed from California

Articles whose dateline places them in California; San Diego matches by administrative containment, and each result shows the dateline text it matched on.

Captured 2026-10-05. A dated example, not a live result.

webhook

A signed run.completed delivery

The POST deep.navy sent to the throwaway monitor's receiver after its first run, signed with the webhook secret over the timestamp and the body.

Captured 2026-10-05. A dated example, not a live result.

Compare the plans

Before your first call

Is the preview free?
Yes. No credit card is needed during preview. Calls are metered and usage limits still apply. The pricing page explains future plans. Pricing and preview.
Which client should I start with?
Start with Claude Code or Cursor using a tool API key. Other clients have different authentication requirements; hosted OAuth setup is explained separately. Connection instructions.
How fresh is the data?
Freshness depends on the source: news ingestion, weekly energy and positioning reports, and annual economic indicators update on different schedules. Keep source and retrieval dates in your output. Dates and provenance.
Are stock prices or trade execution included?
No. These tools supply research data, including SEC filings and XBRL facts. They do not supply exchange price feeds or execute trades. Financial data coverage.
What does an empty filing search mean?
It means no indexed filing matched the request. It does not establish that a company has no filings. Check the SEC source and use XBRL facts independently when appropriate. EDGAR coverage.
Can my agents store or display the output?
Permitted use depends on the source and our terms. Preserve attribution and source links; news, fetched pages and personal information have additional considerations. Terms and source restrictions.
